Tallahassee, FL – October 28, 2008 – PATLive, a provider of hosted telephony services, today announced the launch of HostedNumbers.com, a Web site where small businesses can get inexpensive phone numbers for their hosted Web sites.
According to PATLive VP of Sales & Marketing Victor D’Aurio, HostedNumbers.com fulfills a need identified by Web hosting companies. "There are a lot of small businesses whose only storefront is a hosted Web site. They need a phone number for their Web site but they don’t want to publish their personal cell phone numbers." Customers select one or more numbers, create a schedule for each number and link each number to a ring-to number. Reports are available online in real-time, including line, bar and pie charts, and the reports can be scheduled to run regularly and be emailed to one or more people.
"A really neat feature for hosted Web sites is our integration with Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics," said D’Aurio. "Every time the phone number is called it shows up as a hit on a hidden Web page. This makes it easy to compare online and offline traffic. Hosted voicemail and faxing is also available for an additional monthly charge. Advanced caller ID, which shows the name and address of the caller when available, is another option.
