An Unlikely Customer

In this section, we highlight a unique and innovative use for our services.

Use voicemail as a funny viral marketing gimmick. When the King Cobra got loose in the Bronx Zoo, we set up a cobra spotting hotline and advertised the number on Twitter. We then recorded a funny voicemail from Sgt. Slaughter himself with G.I. Joe music in the background that directed callers on what to do if they spotted the cobra. We changed the message when the cobra was caught, but it is still pretty funny. Give it a listen and see if it sparks some creative ideas for your business.

Service Down? Help Us Fix it Fast

We do not anticipate ANY outages or downtime. This article is simply designed to instruct you on the steps to take in order to help us diagnose and resolve the issue as quickly as possible should one occur. We strive to provide a reliable phone service. Sometimes events occur that we did not foresee or that are out of our control that cause service interruption.

In the event that your phone number is not operational, the most important thing to do first is make a few test calls from different numbers. Using a landline as well as a cell phone is ideal. Then, document the outcomes of these calls (what you heard or didn't hear) along with date, time, and phone numbers you dialed from. Call Customer Support with these details so we can diagnose the problem quickly to resolve the issue. (more)

Over the next quarter, we plan to release the following:

Mobile App - Many of you have expressed the desire to access messages, call recordings, and reports on the go. This new app will be similar to visual voicemail and allow you to see call stats on your smartphone.

Social Message Sharing - What would be more fun than being able to post a voicemail on your friend's wall? Sing happy birthday or your favorite Elvis tune... use the power of voice to convey a powerful message that is easily lost in text.

API Additions - Soon the API will accommodate incoming requests. Currently, the majority of what the API handles is passing information. We are currently developing the capability for the API to handle requests like changing forwarding numbers, customer information, and ordering entire new services.
